The big story with the Xperia Arc is its hardware: it’s the thinnest Android phone we’ve ever seen, and it’s bound to be a big seller, especially once the hacking community is able to remove Sony Ericsson’s heavy Android interface and replace it with something lighter and faster. While we got a few minutes of hands-on time with the Arc at CES, we didn’t get enough time to get a true feel for the device. In this eleven minute hands-on video, the folks from HDBlog.it walk through the hardware and software of the Arc, showing off the sleek form factor, camera functionality, web page browsing performance, and much more. We came away thinking that while less is always more, Sony Ericsson might have struck a balance with the interface of the Arc, which is less heavy than what was found on the Xperia X10, lending to commendable performance out of the box.
