Early adopters of the T-Mobile G2 Android smartphone, which has been shipping early to existing customers who are eligible to pre-order the handset, are noticing some problems starting to arise. First, some users are reporting loose hinges, which will mean that the screen and keyboard won’t stay tight together when the keyboard should be tucked away underneath the screen in closed position.
The second issue appears to be missing storage, with some users noticing that only 2 GB of storage showing up, half of the promised 4 GB on the retail box. Whether this has to do with a software glitch not displaying the full storage capacity or if there was a mix-up in manufacturing is unknown as the Desire Z variant of the G2 is supposed to have the 2 GB of storage.
