We’ve recently posted about the Sony Ericsson X12 Anzu, the company’s Gingerbread Flagship but Eldar Murtazin is not impressed and says it’s anything but flagship, while allegedly playing with the device along with what he calls a Samsung Galaxy 2 aka i9100.
The alleged GT-i9100 is “so technically advanced” in his opinion as it is equipped with a dual core processor, a better display than the one to be found on the Galaxy S and has a plastic case. He also went on saying that it would be available for launch in Q1 2011. Now, this couldn’t possibly be the Nexus S as that one was rumored to be the GT-i9020 but it might as well be Samsung’s refresh to the very popular Galaxy S. With Google’s Gingerbread launch being imminent, we can say that the alleged Galaxy 2 should be hitting the selves soon as there shouldn’t be a long time between the OS and the device launch (and our cited source mentions a purported deal between Samsung and Google where the manufacturer would be allowed to launch the lead device).
