Dolphin HD, one of the alternate web browsers available for Android, just got a major update. If you’re not familiar with the Dolphin browser, it’s a quick and intuitive web browser that came to fame by including multitouch zooming back before Android included the feature. After pinch-to-zoom was included with the Android OS itself, Dolphin’s popularity dropped a bit, but they’re back, and brought with them some cool new features in their latest release.
New Features:
– Fix swipe action issue where the side bar slid out too easily
– Fix drag down window issue where one could not click the links on the top of the page
– Added bookmarks folder support
– Multi-language support (12 languages)
– UI upgrade
– Add Page Management feature to the address bar
– Various bug fixes
Features Included from Previous Versions:
– App to SD card (Android 2.2 users)
– File uploading support for Android 2.2 users
– Clear HTML5 data in settings
– Switch Tab action in Gesture
– GBK, Big5 Encoding support
– Click + to open a new tab
– Better file downloading experience
