Does the Droid RAZR’s Image Stabilization Do More Harm Than Good?

In our last 1080pd video demo recorded on the Motorola Droid RAZR our viewers noted that there was some odd “swimming” in the recorded video.
After some discussion in the comments we decided to test the leading theory: image stabilization at close range has some unintended consequences.
