Dataviz has released Documents to Go 3.0 for Android. The application is now available in the Marketplace.
There are a lot of new features in the update especially for Google Docs users. You are now able to download and use files directly from Google Docs and then synchronize any changes over the air. Other features of note are Desktop Synchronization over USB, improved PDF support, compatibility with Microsoft Office 2010 and the ability to install the application to an SD Card.
Documents to Go 3.0 is available in the Marketplace at $14.99 for new users or as a free update if you have already paid for version 2.x.
Dataviz have allegedly abandoned any plans to bring Documents to Go to HP’s WebOS platform. Quickoffice have taken advantage of the opportunity and have agreed to embed their free document viewing application into WebOS 2.0. Users will be able to purchase an upgrade to enable document editing on their Palm devices when it becomes available.
