The Dell Venue, sans “Pro” and hardware keyboard, is set to hit Korea by the end of this year, running Google Android 2.2 Froyo and hopefully upgradeable to 2.3 Gingerbread soon.
Dell Venue has passed FCC at the end of October without the slide-up QWERTY hardware keyboard to be found on its Windows Phone 7 Dell Venue Pro sibling. The forecasted price will be around 700,000 South Korean Wons (around $608) and the fact that it will arrive to Korea by the end of this month means that a U.S. launch is also imminent. The device will have a similar 4.1-inch WVGA display like the Venue Pro, protected by a curved Gorilla Glass, along with a 1GHz processor, pretty much like HTC is using the same hardware on the HD2, HD7 and Desire HD.
