If you’ve got a Dell Streak I’ve got some bad news, and some good news.

The bad news? They will not be publishing another version of 2.1 nor will they be pushing out 2.1 to additional customers.

The good news? They’re taking all that effort they were putting in Eclair updates and putting it into the Froyo update!

According to their site, Dell reconfirmed its commitment to get Froyo out to all Streak customers by the end of the year. They didn’t mention a specific date, other than “the over-the-air update to 2.2 is target date is much sooner than” December 31st.
