If you have an Android smartphone and you like customizing the bits out of it then you need no introduction to CyanogenMod. For all the others, it’s a popular, highly customized and tweaked ROM based on Android Open Source Project.
Today, CyanogenMod version 7.0 has been released, exiting from the Release Candidate stage it was in the last couple of months — latest RC was version 4 just a little more than a week ago. It currently supports over 30 Android smartphones so chances are yours is supported too. For a complete list of changes, consult the Change Log and for everyone itching to get it, as well as instructions on how to achieve the update/upgrade, head over to the source link. Don’t forget to thank the good people behind the Mod for their hard work!
