We’ve seen the CyanogenMod 9 Trebuchet launcher recently but it appears that there will be even more in store for CM9. Apparently the team is preparing a custom version of Google’s Music application.
There will be a truckload of features, enhancements and tweaks which will give you the possibility of shaking your phone to skip to the next song or control play/pause, all available regardless of the app you’re in or whether your screen is on or off. Custom notification area controls are also in as well as the ability to search the Android Market, set ringtones and more. The modified Music app will not only be part of CM9, once out, but will also be released to the Market for everyone to use.
