CyanogenMod is one of the few things that need no introduction at all. It is hands-down the most popular custom ROM for Android devices, and it’s available for a lot of them. On the official blog, the team has announced the availability of the 7.2 Release Candidate.
“CM7.2 is more than ready for everybody to enjoy” says the post and if you have one of the 70 supported devices, you can go ahead and install it. Android 2.3.7 is what you’ll get with backported features and fixes from Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Expect a lot of bug fixes, new features but for the complete list of changes and additions make sure to consult the rather long changelog. The source link below lists all compatible devices as well as a precious download link to get you started.
