The battle between the carries in Canada no longer refers to whether they have the Samsung-made Galaxy Nexus in the line-up or not but has moved, much to the delight of customers, in the price department.
Telus Canada had the “pure Android” on sale first, until January 26, for a promotional price of $99.99, with a three-year contract. Rogers, Fido and SaskTel all matched the price on Telus (with the obligatory three-year agreement), dropping them from the $599.99 $649.99 range (though Rogers and SaskTel are one-cent cheaper). Bell and Virgin are still up in the high $150′s but, seeing the other four carriers go sub-$100, we can’t be surprized if they pull that one off too, even if it will be for a limited time.
