Canadian carrier Bell has announced it will be carrying HTC’s slide out QWERTY Android 2.2 device the HTC Desire Z. A holding page where you can register your interest has been made available and you will be automatically entered into a draw to win one of the new devices if you take the time to register.
There is no further information available in regards to pricing or when the device will be released, but as always we will let you know as soon as that changes.
The HTC Desire Z is very similar to T-Mobiles G2 and has an 800MHz Qualcomm processor, five-megapixel camera with flash, HD video, 802.11b,g,n and HSPA+ cellular data. The Desire Z has HTC’s Sense UI along with HTCSense.com compatibility.
The Desire Z will be the first smartphone in Canada offering download speeds up to 14.4 megabits per second.
