The Samsung Infuse 4G on AT&T met its Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread update four months ago but now the carrier is preparing to roll out the next minor version of Android which is Gingerbread 2.3.6.
The roll-out process is starting as of February 1 and you might not get in instantly (as the process is reaching your phone). You might want to manually check for the refresh which brings improved copy and paste functionality, redesigned multi-touch keyboard, download manager for long running HTTP downloads, improved power management and application control, notification Shade for “Flight Mode”, new Fonts options added include Choco Cooky, Cool Jazz, Rosemary, Android Keyboard with Wider Spaced keys and Quick Keys at the top, new widgets (the name of the content provider will be listed on the widget list along with the widget name. Previously only the widget name was provided), new Traffic widget (Android) added to list of available widgets, added Downloads and Google Books added new but removed promotional pre-load of Angry Birds.
