Just a day or so following an alleged leak of ICS for the SGSII Skyrocket, the AT&T version of the Samsung Galaxy S II is now officially on the list of devices that will be getting CM9 based on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
According to a post on the CyanogenMod Google+ page, the name of the AT&T variant of Galaxy S II is no longer “galaxys2att” (like it was for CM7), now it’s the “i777″, which is its device model name. Additionally, the first CM9 nightly for the i777 is live! Yes, you can go and get CM9 for your AT&T SGSII right now!
But there’s more!
Hidden in the text of the announcement were some extra clues that may indicate what’s likely coming next:
“You are smart folks, we’re sure we don’t have to hand you a note to figure it out… no sky rocket scientists needed
(/bad puns)”
Are CM9 nightlies for the Galaxy Note and Skyrocket on deck?
