Rumors of the AT&T-bound Samsung Galaxy Note are regular; we even looked at a press render for the device with the carrier branding featured at the top. We still don’t know when the phone will be released though we’re expecting an official announcement next week in Vegas.
As usual before any show, companies are sending out lots of invites to the press. One such invite was sent out from Anymode, a Korean company that makes mobile accessories. The invite also features information related to the launch of the AT&T Galaxy Note.
Look for it at CES, as we suspected. The invitation, aside from mentioning that Anymode was named by AT&T the “OEM vendor for many of its Galaxy Note accessories”, also gives away the fact that “the Note is expected to be available in the United States in early 2012 through AT&T”. CES seems to be the perfect opportunity for an official announcement.
Update: We just received the following wording from Anymode: “JANUARY 6, 2012 –The January 5, 2012 CES Media Alert titled “Anymode Introduces First Accessories for Samsung Galaxy Note” contained inaccurate information pertaining to AT&T and the release of the Samsung Galaxy Note.
The information was not provided by Anymode, AT&T or Samsung , nor did Anymode, AT&T or Samsung approve it.
The issuing party apologizes for the publishing of the inaccurate information and any inconvenience it may have caused“.
