Recently we’ve heard about the first custom ROM for the Asus Transformer Prime — now that it has an unlockable bootloader — and now the manufacturer is making an official Ice Cream Sandwich announcement, though for a previous model.
According to the tablet-maker’s Facebook page, the official Ice Cream Sandwich update — that is firmware v.9.2.1.11 — for the TF101 Transformer tablet is rolling out as of now. We’ve heard of February/March plans regarding ICS on the TF101 and we’re glad to see it being rolled-our. First ones to get firmware over-the-air update notifications will be users in Taiwan; however, other regions are following suit soon and we keep our fingers crossed that you only have to wait a couple of days.
