Asus introduced the Transformer Pad 300 with the occasion of this year’s MWC, alongside the Transformer Pad Infinity and the long-awaited Padfone. The official launch should be imminent as the tablet is listed online with e-tailers.
In France, the convertible tablet in its 32GB flavor popped up for 499, which translates to roughly $650. However, The Verge managed to get some results from Google Shopping (we couldn’t replicate) according to which a U.S. retailer, J&R, has a price of $379 for the 16GB model will be priced at $379 (according to a sales rep). As a reminder, the tablet packs a quad-core nVidia Tegra 3 SoC, 10.1-inch screen with 1280 x 800 resolution, 1GB of RAM, and an eight-megapixel main camera. We’re eagerly waiting for official wording (and also concerning the Infinity Tab and the Padfone).
