Simon Prakash has been with Apple for at least eight years, most recently working at Cupertino as Senior Director of Product Integrity. According to recent reports, he is today starting at his new workplace at Google.
Reports indicate that Prakash will be handling a “secret project” at the Android-maker, “presumably run by Google co-founder Sergey Brin” (who runs several R&D projects at Mountain View). Simon Prakash will allegedly start his work as of today and with Google acquiring Motorola there’s no doubt that several “secret projects” are on the list both hardware and software-wise.
At Apple, Prakash was responsible for the quality of products across all Apple hardware offerings. Google and Apple did not comment on the report just yet.
