AOKP (Android Open Kang Project) makes ROMs based on the AOSP (Android Open Source Project) code and fills them up with so many features it will make your head swim!
In fact, there are so many cool features that I’ve broken the video out into highlights and a detailed walk-through (were I attempt to cover every single feature of the ROM).
AOKP Highlights
In this video I’ll show you a couple of the more notable and very cool features found in the AOKP Custom ROM (build 31), focusing on the ability to customize your navigation bar with custom apps, and the very functional toggles in the notification shade.
Detailed Walk-Through
This video starts at the same point (making fun of the pink unicorn with the rainbow mane) and covers not only the customizable navigation bar and toggles in the notification shade, but goes into detail showing off all (most?) of the features and settings found in this ROM. The video is long — but so is the list of features in the ROM!
Useful Links
The ROM that I featured in this video is called AOKP (in cased you missed it) and can be downloaded here.
The Launcher, which is included in AOKP, is called Nova Launcher, and is available from the Play Store.
