All of you Samsung fans and sheep — from which you need to stand out from by getting the Next Galaxy according to Samsung — take a look at this! After seeing an alleged Galaxy S III prototype in a dummy case earlier we know get another look at (probably another) prototype.
The images were posted on a Chinese forum but the thread no longer exists (thanks Google for caching). We might be looking at another dummy case which resembles the Galaxy S II — you know, concealing the real deal — or this is just the good old design which will be the real deal. We’ll find out more about it on May 3.
There seems to be a physical Home Button at the front bottom — given it is more rectangular and elongated — and a front-facer plus proximity sensor on the right side. However, there’s currently no use in speculating about the design even though, if you look at the back of the phone, it looks really convincing.
On to the software part you will see that the new TouchWiz (yes, it’s still there) on top of Android Ice Cream Sandwich sports five icons at the bottom (instead of four on the Galaxy S II — and one of those appears to be for the app drawer. Now take a look at the last image below and you’ll see the on-screen buttons with a new, drop-down menu button in addition to task switcher, Home and Back.
One week and a day after that! That’s how much you have to wait until you find out all about the Galaxy S III — that is officially, because who knows what last minute leaks may find their way on the Internet shedding more light on the Next Galaxy. Will it live up to the hype?
