While it’s not the full version of the game, Angry Birds Lite Beta is now available in the Android Market. This game pits you, a slingshot, and a handful of angry birds against various obstacles. Your goal is to use your trigonometry skills to shoot the birds via the slingshot into the obstacles, and obliterate the other side. It’s morbidly addictive — and a lot cooler than I make it out to be.
When you head to the Market, you’ll want to look for “Angry Birds Lite Beta” by “Rovio Mobile”. It’s free. I mention this because there are similarly named apps that aren’t free… and aren’t this game.
Also, this is a beta version of the application and is still undergoing final testing before official release. This is the second most addictive game I’ve ever played, and I’m glad it’s finally available on Android.

(Note: No real birds were injured in the creation of this game.)
