Previously we reported that the pre-release version of Android 3.0 Honeycomb was shown running (rather poorly) on an HTC Droid Incredible. We were a bit excited by the prospect of running the tablet-friendly version of Android on a phone. While most phones have too small of a screen to make Honeycomb usable, that might not be the case with the Desire HD, which has a 4.3″ display. As you can see in the video below, performance is quite lackluster, but thanks to the larger display, using Honeycomb becomes a lot more manageable on the Desire HD.
