Last week we posted about team NITDroid’s project of getting Android 2.3 Gingerbread on the Nokia N900 and today we get a short video presentation of Google’s latest mobile operating system running on the device.
The video clearly shows Android version 2.3.1 running on a device with model number N900. The three minute video walks us through the lock screen, home screen (notice the fluid animation when swiping through screens) as well as all programs and settings. Can’t help but observe the tiny portrait keyboard inside the browser as well as the lack of the so called checkerboard effect while flipping through long we pages. WiFi seems to be working well, the phone function too and there’s also a Twitter app being showed off. Overall, the Nokia N900 seems to be one of the most flexible devices also running Android 2.1 Eclair in the past as well as 2.2 Froyo. Check out the video below:
