Android Application Weekly - ViBe, YouSendIt, SoundTracking, NoLED, Train Conductor 2

In this episode of the Android Application Weekly we demonstrate some apps that will keep you entertained, let you share large files through email, and create custom vibration patterns for your contacts. To download these directly to your Android smartphone or tablet just take a picture of the QR-Code using Google Goggles or any other QR-Code scanner or click on the app title link to be taken directly to the Android Market.



ViBe – A lite and $4.00 full version



We have assigned custom ringtones and custom photos to our contacts and now we can create custom vibration patterns. With ViBe you will be able to select preconfigured vibration patterns to a group or single contacts. Create your own patterns by touching the screen to record a unique vibration alert.



YouSendIt – A free application



Have you ever tried to send a large email and realized your email service would not support the large format? With YouSendIt you will be able to upload large files to the YouSendIt service and share them with your contacts. Assign who can read and write to the folder and send them the link to your YouSendIt folder.



SoundTracking – A free application



Identify what music is currently playing and share it over multiple social networks. With SoundTracking you will be able to let your friends know what songs you are playing on your Android. Use the MusicID function to find out what song is playing out loud and share it through Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.



NoLED – A free application



If your Android doesn't have an LED notification light you will still be able to mimic the effect with NoLED. This utility allows you to create personalized LED notifications that float on the screen to let you know you have a new notification. There are many customizable icons for SMS, MMS, missed calls, voicemail, Gmail, and more.



Train Conductor 2 – A lite and $1.95 full version



Train Conductor 2 is a fun puzzle game where you control which trains will travel on which tracks. Play through different locations by scoring enough points to unlock other locations. The object of the game is to direct each train to their destined exit.
