Android Application Weekly - Google Currents, Tank Riders, Alfred, Fling, WeatherEye

In this episode of the Android Application Weekly we demonstrate some apps that will keep you entertained, help you find restaurants based upon your liking, and keep you up-to-date on your favorite news stories. Google Currents url] – A free application



Google Currents allows you to get current news and information from some of the top publications available. This app lets you view and share news articles about what is trending around the world. Add your own customized publications to stay up-to-date with the news that matters to your most.



Tank Riders – No lite and $1.99 full version



Tank Riders is a fun 3D style game in which you must navigate you little tank through multiple levels. The object of the game is to drive your little take through the battleground while avoiding and destroying enemies. Collect coins and hearts to keep your life and points up. This game is combination between a puzzle and adventure game.



Alfred – A free application



Alfred is a great app for anyone that likes to go out but has trouble finding new establishments. This app allows you to teach Alfred the places that you like to eat, get drinks, and have social gatherings. Once Alfred has been taught many places he will automatically suggest establishments based upon the answers you have submitted.



Fling – A lite and $0.99 full version



Fling is an addictive puzzle game for multiple mobile platforms. The object of the game is to knock off all of the little Flings off the screen by bumping one into another. Be careful to not get stuck or shoot one of the Flings off the screen without bumping into another. If at any point you get stuck use the hint button to help guide you where your next move should be.



WeatherEye – A free application



WeatherEye is an easy to use and accurate weather forecasting app. This app displays forecasts broken down into current, extended, and hourly arrays. View weather maps and get alerts automatically based on your current location or specified cities. Submit photos of the current weather outside to share with others in your area.
