In this episode of the Android Application Weekly we demonstrate some apps that will entertain, remotely connect to your Android smartphone, and edit new and existing photos. To download these directly to your Android smartphone or tablet just take a picture of the QR-Code using Google Goggles or any other QR-Code scanner to be taken directly to the Android Market.
Khan Academy A free application
Khan Academy has been one of the biggest hits on YouTube providing educational videos. These videos range from advanced high school to college courses. The videos are easy to follow and very informative for anyone wanting to expand their knowledge.
LazyDroid Server A free application
LazyDroid allows you to remotely connect to your Android smartphone over a Wi-Fi or USB connection. Send SMS messages, take pictures, view and edit contacts, and if you have root access even view a live screen shot. There are setting to prevent unwanted users from gaining access to your Android by designating a username and password.
PhotoWonder A free application
PhotoWonder is an easy to use photo editing app. Add clipart and effects to enhance the look of your photos. Download more free customizations from the app itself. Share your photos over social networks or through messaging services.
Stupid Zombies A free application
Stupid Zombies is a challenging knock-em-down game similar to Angry Birds. The object of the game is to kill the zombies by firing shots at objects and bouncing bullets off walls. Complete the level in as few shots as possible to earn more stars.
Tiki Towers 2 No trial and $2.99 full version
The original Tiki Towers game was a big hit on a few mobile platforms and has now been updated to a second version. This new version has multiple exits so you are able to control where the game takes you but choosing which part of the world you want to visit.
