In this episode of the Android Application Weekly we demonstrate some apps that will entertain, access your Google Documents, and save some cash as the grocery store. To download these directly to your Android smartphone or tablet just take a picture of the QR-Code using Google Goggles or any other QR-Code scanner to be taken directly to the Android Market.
Docs A free application
Docs is the official Google Documents application for Android. Access your saved documents, photos, and other information on the fly. There are options to edit existing documents or create a new document or spreadsheet.
HeyZap A free application
For anyone that enjoys playing games on their Android but has a hard time know which games to try before you buy. HeyZap is tied into Facebook and allows users to view which games you enjoy and see which games they recommend. Get tips for games you are already playing and challenge others.
QuickPic A free application
QuickPic is a great app for anyone frustrated with the speed that photos load in the default Android gallery. View photos or videos, zoom in and out, and share your photos with others.
SavingStar A free application
Everyone likes to save money, and coupons are a great way to do so, but clipping is time consuming. SavingStar adds the saving directly onto your grocery store’s frequent shopper card. After you scan your rewards card or input your phone number the savings are adjusted.
WorldMate A free application
Keep track of your travel itineraries with WorldMate. Forward your confirmation emails to firstname.lastname@example.org and have the information automatically saved to your trips. Book a hotel, or flight directly from the app, view weather information, and convert your currency.
