In this episode of the Android Application Weekly we demonstrate some apps that will keep you entertained, download that music hit, and find activities to do around you. To download these directly to your Android device just take a picture of the QR-Code using Google Goggles or any other QR-Code scanner to be taken directly to the Android Market.
Forest Runner A free application

Forest Runner is a high speed obstacle avoidance game in which your character runs quickly through the forest and you much tell him when to jump. If you do not jump soon enough, or you jump too soon, then the Forest Runner will die and you will have to start back at the check point. There are many levels.

Goby A free application

If you have trouble finding activities to do on your time off. Then Goby is the application for you. There are hundreds of categories to find that perfect activity, restaurant, bar, club, family fun, and much more. The results are based on the Android’s proximity and even display a map, directions, and calling options.

Miren Browser A free application

Although the stock Android browser is probably the best mobile browser around, it is quite slow. Miren Browser is an easy to use mobile web browser that has many intuitive interfaces and options. There are even options to render the pages as you would see in an iPhone, iPad, and Chrome desktop browser. At this time Miren does not support Flash.

Music Wizard A free application

Music Wizard allows you to search through a plethora of MP3s and music files from online servers. Download the music directly to your Android device and even create ringtones from the saves songs.

Stitcher Radio A free application

If you enjoy talk radio, then Stitcher Radio is for you. There are tons of local and syndicated talk radio shows available on-demand. As well as many talk radio podcasts.
