In this episode of the Android Application Weekly we demonstrate some apps that will keep you entertained, allow you to find when your favorite shows are playing on TV, and have historical travel sites read to you. To download these directly to your Android smartphone or tablet just take a picture of the QR-Code using Google Goggles or any other QR-Code scanner or click on the app title link to be taken directly to the Android Market.
Drop A free application
Drop is a simple game that will test your reaction time. Use the accelerometer to position the small ball through the channels of each level. As the game progresses the speed increases and when you are no longer able to keep up the ball will get trapped at the top of the screen and the game is over.
Georeader A free application
Want to learn about historical sites while traveling? With Georeader you can have your next trip narrated to you as you venture through the country. When you pass a historical site Georeader will read a small amount of information about the site you are passing. Stop by the site to take a little rest and explore.

Get detailed information about your favorite television shows. View previous and future airing dates of episodes. Never miss your favorite show again with Showtimes.

Grow is a fun game in which you control a small fish. The object of the game is to eat as many other fish while collecting coins. Get enough coins and point to earn three stars and move onto the next level. Avoid the red-coated fish until they change and then attack.
