In this episode of the Android Application Weekly we demonstrate some apps that will keep you entertained, organize your call history, and set when and who can get a hold of you. To download these directly to your Android device just take a picture of the QR-Code using Google Goggles or any other QR-Code scanner to be taken directly to the Android Market.

Androidify – A free application

The people at Google have created yet another brilliant app. Androidify is a simple avatar creator that lets you to make your own customized Android. Choose from millions of style combinations and save the little Androids as contact photos, upload to Facebook, or share with friends and family.

CallTrack – A free application

CallTrack is a very simple utility application but makes keeping your call history streamlined. The app has the ability to save call details from incoming, outgoing, and missed calls onto your Google calendar.

Muzzle Phone – A free application

Muzzle Phone lets you create personalized notification profiles to prevent unwanted interruptions. Select when and who may contact you and set the parameters of a Muzzle Phone Law. For example, if you did not want your phone to ring while at work, but you wanted the ringer to turn on after work, just create a law with the times and days and Muzzle phone will prevent those annoying disturbances.

Tank Hero – A free application

Tank Hero is a very addictive game that is somewhat similar to a tower defense game. There are two modes of gameplay; campaign and survival. The object of the game is to destroy the enemy tanks while keeping your tank intact. The more points you score the better the weapons you may buy.

Words With Friends – A free application

One of my all-time-favorite games for the iOS platform is Words With Friends, and now it is available for Android. The object of the game is similar to Scrabble, the only difference is that the high score tile spaces are rearranged in an altered pattern. Play against friends, family, coworkers, random opponents, or someone sitting right next to you. Score the most points to win the game.
