About a month ago we heard from Google that the Nexus One (the original Nexus smartphone) won’t be getting Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich — not officially anyway.
While disappointing, it’s left some wondering: what about the G1, the very first Android-powered smartphone? The official answer is “no”, but that isn’t stopping the development effort!
What’s not working yet? Just WiFi, Bluetooth, and rotation (so far). As you can see in the video, ICS is more than just a little bit sluggish on the T-Mobile G1 — but it’s running.
