Earlier today Google teased us with the promise of a “surprise” coming to the Nexus S. A few hours later they announced that Android Gingerbread 2.3.4 would be distributed over-the-air over the “next few weeks”.
Included in the .4 revision to Gingerbread are various bug fixes for the Nexus One and video chat for the Google Talk app on the Nexus S. This is a major milestone as it will theoretically bridge the gap between desktop and mobile video chatting!
What’s more, they say that’s not even their big surprise!
