It’s unclear if Motorola and Verizon Wireless have begun to roll out Android 2.2 Froyo yet to the carrier’s flagship Android phone, but a screenshot has emerged of the Droid X running Android 2.2. According to the poster of the screenshot, here’s what we know about the edition that’s been trickling out:
** Yes it still has blur
** No it does not have the new froyo homescreen
** It behaves and looks just like current system.
It looks like Motorola is still retaining its widgets-based UI on the device’s homescreen.
Not a lot of information is available at this time, though the companies have committed to a late summer released of 2.2 and rumors on the Internet has it that Froyo should be heading out in the coming weeks.
