Last time Amazon updated its own Appstore for Android phones was back in May when it added the two-step buy button in order to avoid accidental purchases. Now the application has been updated to version 1.15 and it appears to be a maintenance one.
Aside from the stability improvements, the new Amazon Appstore has an improved search initiation, better app compatibility check and improved customer feedback. As far as fixes go, the version 1.5 will fix customer reviews bug, rotation issues on purchase,
force-close error on repeat taps on Refine button as well as the Search box bug.
You should get an update notification for the new version but if that didn’t reach your phone, open the application and check for updates yourself.
