We’ve heard about Amazon’s plans to launch it’s own application store and according to hear-say, it should come sometime this month. Latest rumors imply that the retail giant is set to make its own application store live tomorrow, March 22.
The date is not official; it comes from a “trusted source” but we know that preparations were made since last year and more recently we found out Amazon app store was named the exclusive distributor for three upcoming Rovio titles: Angry Birds Rio and the paid, ad-free versions of both the original Angry Birds as well as Angry Birds Seasons. Untill official information comes out, we’ll file this under the “R” category and/or wait until tomorrow to see what happens.
