May 22 seems to be a date which is present in the majority of Samsung Galaxy S III leaks, regardless if they look legit or not. We’ve recently seen the date on an alleged press render and later on, another render showed the 22nd and Tuesday, which according to our calculations happens on May 22.
Another leak, as seen above, seems to take the shape of a press invite this time. While you still need to treat this with the usual dose of salt — and it’s really up to you to judge whether it is real or fake — the picture above clearly states Samsung Galaxy S III, May 22 and London. Plus, there’s part of a device which looks to be tapered at the bottom and tall enough to fit a 16:9 aspect ratio screen.
On that exact note, the device rendered seems to have a new design concept. No buttons hint towards full Ice Cream Sandwich compliance (though buttons are supported and they might even be there but in a capacitive form) — or we’re looking at the back of it, as pointed out by Jimbobwest in the comments. There seems to be no physical home button and no hardware shutter button. That’s just about it! Let us know what you think in the comments below!
