Not long ago we started hearing rumors about Google’s next Android platform, dubbed Jelly Bean; later on Asus made it very clear that they want to be among the first ones to deliver the platform refresh but what comes after Jelly Bean?
We all know the naming convention for Android: they’re deserts starting with letters of the alphabet (Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, just to name a few). Well, after the rumored upcoming Jelly Bean there should come a desert starting with letter K and it will reportedly be Key Lime Pie (not that there are many other options).
There are no other details regarding version numbers or features and it’s relatively safe to assume that KLP will see an official launch sometime next year. However, make sure you get familiar with the desert as we’ll be hearing more about this Google platform in the future.
