Photoshop Express 1.3 for Android is the new version of the Photoshop.com app. This new version now lets users play back videos from their Photoshop.com online library, even in slideshow mode, and share videos in email.

Basic photo manipulation tools are included, but lack the staple auto color, auto levels, and auto brightness tools that make the desktop version of Photoshop so useful. Instead, various effects and borders take center stage. Brightness and contrast adjusters are present, but they are manual, not automated.

Unlike the stock Gallery app, sharing isn’t tied in to the Android OS, instead only Photoshop.com online, Facebook, and TwitPic are supported.

If you have a Photoshop.com online account, the Photoshop Express may be useful to you. Otherwise, don’t be fooled into thinking this is “Photoshop for Android”.
