Although no official announcement has been made yet, sources suggest that ViewSonic is preparing to launch a new 7-inch Android tablet next week in Barcelona. The device is called ViewPad G70, and it has a MSRP price of $350, but we might see it in the end being available for around $300. The ViewPad G70 will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and will feature two cameras, 1024 x 600 high-resolution screen, 3G-capable radio, 4GB of internal memory, 1GB of RAM and a microSD card slot.
There’s no info yet regarding the included processor’s specs. This should also be a Google-certified device, so we expect all the Google services and Android Market access to be available. PocketNow will be in Barcelona in a couple of days, so stay tuned for hands-on and much more from MWC 2012.
