We may see three or four years of waiting for a new MacBook Pro end in just over a week. Perhaps we’ll be able to learn if all our little expectation buttons get buttoned up.

Apple has scheduled another keynote for October 27 at 10am Pacific. It’s one of lower profile the event’s splash page doesn’t get the complete homepage treatment on Apple.com.

While Infinite Loop is told to be launching three iPads sometime next spring, we’re looking at the possibility of a MacBook Pro refresh, featuring a Touch ID sensor, an LED touch-strip to replace the function key row, a high-res OLED screen and a new AMD graphics card. Other changes could see Apple stick to USB-C only for ports.
