Mystery Nubia phone has a 23-megapixel camera and a 13-megapixel front-facer

ZTE seems interested in kicking off next week with a smartphone event led by its younger brand, Nubia. We didn’t know much about the phone, just that there was an event around it in Beijing a week ahead of time.

But Weibo’s tech circle is always able to dig something up. And in this case, it’s the phone and a couple of spec lines — the camera resolutions. On the front, it’s a great 13 megapixels. On the back, we’re talking 5488 x 4112, or 22.6-megapixels.

We’re talking about a more intense rear-and-front combo than Sony’s Xperia XA Ultra right now. But will price and availability pale in their respective ways (lower and narrower, to be completely clear)?

Monday’s just a weekend away.
