Niantic slows its roll for Pokémon GO to shore up servers
Pokémon GO is available in
Japan, Australia, New Zealand and the United States. Unfortunately for many Pocket Monster fans in other places, that’s where it will stay for the time being.
You know how your hordes of friends have been complaining about the servers not keeping up and about them not getting into the app? That seems to be the big problem that gamemaker Niantic Labs is facing in keeping its app roll-out going.
Thank you for your patience. We have been working to fix the server issues. We will continue rolling out #PokemonGO to new countries soon.

Canada, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latin America, the Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Spain and the United Kingdom have yet to start catching them all. If you’re proficient in English, you could sideload Pokémon GO, but only if you’re careful.
Correction: The game has not been launched in Japan. Pocketnow regrets the error.
