Apple may acquire Tidal

Hi-Fi streaming service Tidal has seen a few bright days, but even Jay Z’s money can’t seem to keep it on the radar for too long. Rumors of acquisition by other streaming services such as Napster (neé Rhapsody) and Samsung have either been ungrounded or unsuccessful.

Enter Apple, reports the Wall Street Journal.

People familiar with the matter are saying that Infinite Loop is in the exploration stage with Tidal right now and that any sticking points or chances that the deal will be completed are uncertain.
