Out to lunch? Or out to tease?
A couple of netizens happened to be eating their midday meals when they noticed this person holding up a weird-looking phone up to his ear. It then dawned on them:
People still make phone calls on phones?
After the stupor rubbed off, they also realized that this phone they’re quite possibly looking at the rear of a Huawei P9 in “the wild.” The big tells are the two circle-encased cameras at the top and the fingerprint sensor on the upper “rule of thirds.” We can also appreciate a refined “squircle” fingerprint sensor instead of the straight-up circle we saw last pass around. We’re also guessing that we see a autofocus laser emitter as the extra module under the dual-LED flash unit, just left of an abomination of smudgey text possibly saying “DELUX.”
But hey, we’re just ogling at a metallic slab and shooting the breeze. We don’t have long — 17 days, in fact — until we find out what Huawei will actually put out as the P9.
