LG G5 benchmarked, no surprises found

This device looks like it’s going to be one of those devices that will keep leaking until the last minute.

But hey, we might as well enjoy the ride with the LG G5. After our rumor roundup comes this Geekbench readout which features no real surprises from our expectations. The G5, which is assumed to go by the model number LG-F700S, looks to be sporting the typical innards a healthy 2016 flagship should have.

Android 6.0.1 is to go on top of a Snapdragon 820 (MSM8996) chipset and 4GB of RAM. That single-core score looks pretty appealing, but it’s nothing out of the blue. We just hope it lives up to the hype.
