Apple Music search confused, leaves users the same

Apple Music, after the debut, the trials by fire and the death glares, now has a core base of users. And they are mad. Mad because of a problem that Spotify does not.

Many users on Twitter and in Apple’s support forums are complaining of the search function either not delivering results properly or at all and/or blanking out when called to deliver an artist profile or track. In one case, partial search terms would be autocompleted by the search engine and then popped up related entries were given while completed terms pulled no entries.

The problems are affecting all applicable generations of iPhones and all versions of iOS. No one has been able to troubleshoot the issue. Apple has not acknowledged the problem through its own and other media. Its systems status page did not register any server issues since inquiries started pouring in yesterday.
