Dead Zebra celebrates Chinese New Year with Android figurines and golden tickets

If you like inexpensive and cute trinkets like our old friend Taylor Martin did (he had a bunch of Android figurines featured in the background of his videos), you might have something to look forward to here. And if you like expensive and cute trinkets just like a lot of people — hey, wearables count, too — then you’re certainly looking forward to getting one for the price of free. Maybe.

Specialty toy and poster boutique Dead Zebra has come out just before the Chinese New Year with another themed Android mini collectible.

Included in the package is a lucky red envelope — but instead of containing real cash as tradition goes, there will be either a imitation bill adorned with an Android and a monkey (it is the year of the monkey after all) OR a “golden ticket.” Redeeming that ticket will be good for a custom-minted 24-karat gold coin weighing 10 grams and worth over $450.

A limited quantity of the “Red Pocket” figurine will be available to Dead Zebra shoppers starting January 25 at 11am Eastern for $10 each.

Android love, a new year and some bling to boot!
