Update: Boost Mobile has announced that it will be selling the K7 as the Tribute 5 sometime this quarter. No details on specs, pricing nor availability. (Via)

You want to see something other than refrigerators? We bet you do. How about some smartphones from LG? They’re not exactly class-leading machines, though, but at least these phones invigorate the company’s mid-range lineup with some refined design and decent core specs. But will these two K-series phones catch eyes in the budget market?

That’s what LG is hoping for as it introduces the K7 and K10. Both of them sport 2.5D Arc Glass and should have some decent optics for the lower-end K7 and more impressive ones for the K10. There are major variations in components due to market distribution, but we’ll be detailing the LTE models as we can best make out.

LG is making a big deal of promoting its “glossy pebble” design on both devices with the K10 looking like it gets a more advanced cross-hatch trim on the back cover.

No word on availability or pricing, but it’s at CES right now.
