Using the Apple Pencil for 3D Touch on the iPad Pro

Our review is up for the iPad Pro. But we haven’t reviewed it with the stylus just yet. Or the Apple Pencil, if you prefer. One of the major features of the latest iPhones is 3D Touch, something that isn’t included with the iPad Pro. You see where we’re going here?

Hamza Sood knew where he was going when he decided on a whim to code some runtime functions for the iPad Pro that activate 3D Touch features via Apple Pencil touch registry.

With all those pressures needing some sensing, there’s got to be a way to get 3D Touch menus and peeks happening, right?

Well, it can happen insofar as your development skills can handle. Now if only Apple would let us know that it’s working on this. The code’s below with Sood’s annotations.
